"Mark saved me a lot of money on my insurance. He also took the time to explain to me exactly what I needed to adequately cover my family and my businesses. I now carry life, home, car, and business liability insurace with Mark. Mark is a great guy and I would definitely recommend him if you're in the market for insurance." -Paul Jones, Elements Laser Spa, Austin, TX
"...depending on the agent, they may try to sell you 'junk' you don't need or leave you under covered... oftentimes, just getting the cheapest basic coverage from company X 'is not the best' for the policy holder in the end.
For instance, take the recent hail storm in North Austin. Mark was on the phone with all of his clients affected and was able to get them quicker evaluations and rental cars because he has relationships with his clients, unlike some random call center person..." -Sean Hanna, Source Wellness Center, Westlake Hills / Austin, TX
"...Buying insurance is like buying a bike. Having someone in the business that knows how to help you evaluate what you want and what you want to spend is invaluable, as long as you can trust them to have your interests at heart. I know Mark personally, and he's that kind of guy." -Sean Hanna, Source Wellness Center, Westlake Hills / Austin, TX
"Mark is an exceptional insurance agent who is passionate about providing the best possible coverage to protect you and your loved ones! He is remarkably knowledgeable about the various policies that are offered and is able to explain all the processes in a way that makes everything a little more understandable. Mark built a unique relationship with me that was unlike any I have ever had with an insurance agent..." - Andrew Yap, Austin, TX
"...This relationship was much more personal, sincere, and genuine! I thought of him as more of an adviser who helped guide me towards some of the most significant choices I have had to make about ensuring my future. He not only taught me about the best ways to protect myself, my loved ones, and my assets, but he also taught me a lot about life! I would recommend Mark to anyone who is looking for the smartest way to secure their future!" - Andrew Yap, Austin, TX
"Have you ever hit a deer here in Texas? Pretty traumatic? Well maybe for the deer, but for me, it was one of the easiest and quickest problems solved, all due to Mark ... Get yourself some piece of ... mind." -Doug LeBelle, Austin, TX
"We bought insurance through Mark and since then he has always been there for us. It is a huge thing that you have somebody who cares for you and you know he will be there for you when things happen. He will work hard to find the best rate for you as he did for us. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is considering a new insurance agent." -Yoon Schaefer, Wedding Photographer, Round Rock, TX
"If you're looking for insurance then you have to talk to Mark. He'll be completely honest with you and help you make the right choices and probably save some money too. When we needed insurance, I gave him a call and he came over to our house and walked us through choosing the right insurance for our situation. He was super friendly and took the time to make sure we understood everything. I've never had an agent do that before. I would highly recommend Mark and his agency. Don't hesitate to give him a call." -JustJ, Submitted through CitySearch
Michael Jackson Dead - Farrah Fawcett Dead - Are You Ready? |
|
|
M any people today are undoubtedly shocked at the death of Michael Jackson & feel horrible that Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with cancer and died earlier today. Their deaths come on the heels of two other very public & high profile losses, David Carradine & Ed McMahon. Without stating the obvious, it seems like a good time to remind our clients of the obvious - NOBODY lives forever in this world. It is important to get our affairs in order before the expected happens. When talking about preparing for the end of life, I find that many people tend to “skirt” the issue. Let’s face it, none of us like thinking about and preparing for the inevitable. The end of life is not like living with the possibility of being involved in a car accident, or having a loss involving our home - after all, it is conceivable that we could live our whole lives and not experience either type of loss. However, none of us will avoid the end of our lives - the bottom line is that no matter who we are, how much or how little we have, what we have done or left undone, we will all experience an end to this life and we will leave people, animals, organizations, & loved ones behind. For most the end will be sudden & unexpected! Most of the time, when I sit down and visit with my clients I stress the fact that I want them to make informed & educated decisions and not to take action based on fear or worry. In my experience, this type of mindset will usually cause people to make bad choices. However, sometimes I feel that this type of thinking can work against most people when considering the end of life. Of course we want to make well thought out plans and decisions about our legacies and what we leave behind, but I think that most of us use this as an excuse not to complete our plans by allowing ourselves to be overwhelmed with the options, decisions and all of the different elements that need to be considered & acted upon to appropriately prepare. With most people, I really fear that I let them off the hook too easily. So, let me be a voice shouting in the wilderness… No matter what your age is! No matter how young you are, how old you are, or what your station in life - You need to prepare! Get your affairs in order! Surround yourself with advisors, and people you trust to help you get ready for your death - do NOT put it off until you have time for it! Do these three things right NOW:
If you think about it, by doing this now, you do not have to think about it later, or worry about the fact that you have not done or said something important. Please take this opportunity and the motivation of these very public and shared losses to inspire you to do the right thing for yourself and those you love - finish planning your legacy, so that you do not leave it in the hands of strangers who will most likely get it wrong! Finally, if we can help, let us know. |
