This is a tough story to watch.
I get the feeling that Tara's husband, Preston, was the kind of fellow that everybody would like to have in their lives.
For my client's and friends, I feel that this story really shows why I feel so strongly about life insurance. There is no question - Everybody needs it.
We can get bogged down in all types of reasons for not taking action. Ask, yourself if any of the following excuses sound familiar?
- We don't like to think about the inevitable end to our lives. (To be sure, this is difficult, but not facing it does not mean your death will not happen). - Perhaps we are concerned about money & budget, "how can we afford another expense?" (How can we not afford to cover our loved ones, our spouses, children, parents?) - "We are young, we don't need it." (Tara's husband was in his 20s) - "We have life insurance at work." (What happens when you get laid off, or when they stop paying for that benefit for you?)... Worse - what happens if you wait too long because you have this benefit, then go to apply for life insurance that you will own and cannot qualify?
These are all reasons I have heard from various people over the years, and in my estimation, especially when considering Tara and Preston's story, none of these are good reasons to avoid the most important coverage you will ever put in place.
Perhaps you have never met an agent who took the time to sit down and visit with you about what you need to put in place before the unexpected happens.
As I have told all of my clients when I sit down with them for their original appointment. I consider life insurance to be the "Higher Calling" of what I do as an insurance agent. When I put the life insurance policies in force for families, I know that I have had an eternal impact on their lives. The people that they love and care about will not have to lose everything in the event that their loved one loses their life.
Please call me today, it is quick, easy, and painless to get this most important and essential coverage in place - this is the one type of policy that truly matters.
I'll look forward to hearing from you today! |
